Rachael Ijidakinro
FOUNDER, NEW MINDSET TRANSTIONAL HOUSING
Rachael Ijidakinro resides in Atlanta, GA, where she has witnessed countless individuals fall victim to homelessness, unemployment, hopelessness, and depression, including members of her own immediate family. Drawing from her personal experiences, Rachael recognizes a pressing need for comprehensive care and support for this vulnerable population.
In her commitment to making a difference, Rachael actively volunteers in Gwinnett County Community Food distribution. As a seasoned real estate professional, mother of four adult children, and grandmother, she brings a wealth of life experience to her endeavors. Rachael holds a college degree from Georgia State University, with a major in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Human Learning and Development, a foundation that has driven her passion for aiding others.
Utilizing her expertise in property management, Rachael has provided accommodation for numerous needy families and low-income individuals. She has also collaborated with support organizations to provide emergency shelter, such as the Atlanta Children’s Funding. Rachael’s ultimate aspiration is to bridge the gap between foster care and independent living by empowering young adults to adopt new mindsets that pave the way for positive change and a brighter future.
To realize this vision, she has established New Mindsets Transitional Housing, a platform dedicated to facilitating this transition while fostering a movement aimed at enhancing the fabric of society. Through her efforts, Rachael aims to improve the Gwinnett County community,
